Welcome from the Headteacher
It is a privilege to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of The Royal Kent Church of England Primary School. Nestled in the heart of Oxshott, our one-form entry primary school has been at the centre of the village community for over two centuries, and I am both proud and excited to lead this next chapter in its rich history.
At The Royal Kent School, we are united by a shared commitment to nurturing every child’s academic, personal, and spiritual development. Our five core values; Cognisance, Commitment, Compassion, Courage and Creativity, are at the heart of school life and underpin everything we do. These values not only shape our curriculum and wider provision but also guide our children in becoming thoughtful, resilient and compassionate individuals.
Cognisance - Commitment - Compassion - Courage - Creativity

Our Vision
Building Firm Foundations Together
Jesus said: “Whoever listens to me, and puts my words into practice, is like a wise person who builds their house on the rock.” (Matthew 7: 24)
Our Values
As a nurturing school community, we will discover the fullness of life by journeying together with:
Cognisance - by growing a greater awareness of the world around us and respecting the rights of others to hold different beliefs and opinions;
Commitment - by developing a sense of responsibility and service to others within our school and wider community, and having the strength of character to complete what we set out to accomplish
Compassion – by supporting one another, embracing diversity and fostering empathy towards others, to become caring and thoughtful global citizens
Courage - by being willing to keep trying new things beyond our comfort zone until we succeed, navigating uncertainties with resilience and integrity
Creativity - by encouraging innovation and exploration in the way we approach all aspects of our lives now and in the future, using our unique talents and potential
